Refund Policy

This policy covers founding contributions on getmaktub.app and any future paid features we offer. The waitlist is free. Founding contributions are capped at €500 per person.

EU/EEA consumers may request a full refund within 14 days of payment, without giving a reason. After that, founding contributions are generally non-refundable except where we agree (for example a clear billing error) or the law requires otherwise.

If we permanently discontinue Maktub before the app is generally available so founding benefits cannot be used, you may request a refund of what you paid for that contribution by emailing info@getmaktub.app from the payment email (subject Refund request). Refunds are not issued automatically — we process them after your request. Your remedy in that case is that refund, except for rights that cannot be limited by law.

Email info@getmaktub.app from the payment email with subject Refund request, and include the payment date and amount. This applies to the 14-day right and to discontinuation refunds. We refund to the original payment method after we receive your request.

Founding benefits tied to that payment end. Your waitlist place is not removed solely because of a founding refund.

Refunds for purchases through Apple or Google follow the relevant store’s rules. We cannot override those decisions.
